Relationships Tips

Getting Out... Together

So many things in society today try to urge us to focus on the "self", with the "it's all about me" attitude. As couples, or companionships, perhaps we should concentrate some of that "me" energy on "us". More relationships would work so much better if we focused on doing what makes us both happy.

While it is true that we are individuals and we need to develop and improve our own individual talents, we still need to be the #1 cheerleader of our companion and cheer each other on to personal success, as well. There is so much room for each one of us to improve and further develop our own individual talents. It's so much more fun to watch and actively acknowledge the successes of our companions as they reach higher and achieve more, possibly through the efforts of those who love them most! We need to develop and display at least a supportive interest in things that our partners are truly passionate about.

It's so much more fun to share successes with each other as they are successes of the moment. Broaden our horizons and expand our minds to begin to see the potential possibilities our soul-mates can become.

Then become part of their passion. Share their dreams. Visualize their hopes as they are, as we should be, "becoming".

Be a part of their life!
